Juneau To Petersburg

Of all the routes this one offers the greatest flexibility. Halfway through the trip, near the southern tip of Admiralty Island, we will decide whether to continue north and circumnavigate Admiralty or to spend the extra time with wildlife in Frederick Sound and explore other inlets and islands there.

See humpback whales gather before migrating and amazing glaciers, bear viewing in the tributaries of Admiralty Island, hiking in the rainforest, fishing, kayaking and a good chance of spotting Orca, Dalls Porpoise, Stellar Sea Lions and Bald Eagles and you have the makings of an incredible adventure.

Juneau To Ketchikan

Exploration and adventure awaits on this cruise from the spectacular fjords and glaciers of the Tracy Arm Fords Terror Wilderness area into Frederick Sound to search for Humpback Whales and other marine life. Then sit back and relax as we make our way down Clarence Strait to Alaska’s gateway city of Ketchikan.

Sitka to Juneau

We’ll navigate a myriad of coastal islands and inner channels looking for sea otters and bears on the beaches before catching the tide through the infamous Sergius Narrows to Frederick Sound. There is time to hike, kayak and fish before we explore the stunning fjords and glaciers of the Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness Area.

You could easily spend a week or more exploring the fjords, inlets, islands and waterways of Frederick Sound, Stephens Passage and southern Chatham Strait. Scenic and pristine, with abundant wildlife both in the water and on land, we try to maximize our time here on all Alaska inside passage cruises.
